I had a set of BMW E30 Sport Seats (very much like the Recaros or Corbeau GTS) in my lowered 73 Panel Van, and the bolsters were a bit of a hassle - and that was lowered! I ended up using Corbeau Sport Seats, which have much lower and more rounded bolsters. Have any photos you can post? Might help us help you! '91 Syncro 16 Reimo Hightop Conversion, eTDI I think the seat bolsters (sides) would be a real beyatch on ingress/egress, and would wear really quickly? If anyone has experience with this or can help me locally I'll be happy to buy the beer! I was assured by one of the suppliers these brackets would work in a westy but for the life of me I can't see how it's going to work. I now have these seats and brackets sitting on my floor awaiting installation. ~800/pair in suede.dang that's reasonable. I guess I could put an armrest on the door.but I really like having both arms.

Man if only those had armrests! Not sure I'm ready to give that up. Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! Or has anyone else tried this specific combo? Posted: Sun 11:06 pm Post subject: Re: Corbeau Seats H&R SPORT(RED) Springs FRONT, SLAM SPECIALTIES RE6 AIRBAGS REAR

"So, now that you know what you're doing, go to town." you could search for it here and on the Vortex site as well. Tristar Eric had some Corbeaus in his, yup, Tristar I beleive. Just wondering if anyone out there has done this and what they think of the improvement with the seats and if mounting them with the D392T bracket makes the seat too high. My seats are shot and I am thinking of buying a pair of Corbeau GTS II or Sports Seats.
